Geronimo Stilton, also known in the books by his surname, Stilton, is the main character of the Geronimo Stilton book series, an anthropomorphic mouse and its TV adaptation. He works as the head editor and publisher of his newspaper company, The Rodent's Gazette. He's a nervous and mild-mannered mouse who often gets taken for wild adventures and experiences by his family and friends.
Appearance
Geronimo is an average looking mouse, with light brown fur. He dresses very nicely, donning a green suit with a red tie and a blue shirt.
Personality
In the books, Geronimo is known to be a shy mouse who would prefer to stay at home reading a book instead of going for crazy adventures. He is a very kind mouse who cannot say no to anyone for help.
In the animated series, Geronimo is braver, open, and quick to anger (especially when it comes to Trap's antics). Furthermore, he is an honest journalist and mystery-solver.
Biography
Geronimo was born in New Mouse City, Mouse Island. Geronimo along with his sister, Thea was adopted when they were infants and he does not know their biological parents.

Geronimo and Benjamin love each other as much as to other family members. In the books, Geronimo hardly ever says no to Benjamin because the latter is the former's favorite. In the TV show, he is protective towards his nephew when something bad happens to him. Despite his protection, he is not very tech-savvy like Benjamin.

- In Race Across America, Geronimo's home address is written on his package as 8 Mouseford Lane, 13131 New Mouse City, Mouse Island.
- Since Geronimo is adopted, it is unknown if Thea, Benjamin, and Trap are his biological family members.
- Geronimo wears glasses in the books, but does not wear them in the TV show.
- He also wears a waistcoat under his tuxedo in the books, but not in the show.
- In the show, Geronimo seems to be braver than he is in the books.
- In mini book 2: The Lake Monster and in Mouse House Hunter, it is revealed that Geronimo has a goldfish named Hannibal.
- In Fabumouse School Adventure, Geronimo is known for his agility and athleticism due to his training in gymnastics.
- In The Way of the Samurai, Geronimo takes lessons in martial arts.
- In The Giant Diamond Robbery, Geronimo is accepted into the MISSO (Mouse Island Secret Service Organization) as an operative with the codename OOG. Despite that, he never mentions anything about running a special operations mission or even working for the agency in later books.
