Winglet is the current monarch of the Empire of Fantasy. She is the daughter of King George and Queen Blossom, and first appeared in The Battle for Crystal Castle.
Physical Appearance[]
„[Winglet] was so different from any fairy I had ever seen in the Kingdom of Fantasy! She had curly hair that looked like it was brushed by a tornado. Her face was as delicate as a butterfly's wings, her skin was a light blue, and her eyes were big and sparkling. She was different from Blossom but resembled her a lot.
Winglet is a blue fairy with cornflower blue eyes, pale blue skin, three pairs of transparent wings resembling her mother Queen Blossom's wings, and unruly curly dark blue hair cut in a short bob.
Her outfit as the Rebel Princess consists of a gem-encrusted dragonfly-shaped barrette; a linen-colored short-sleeved double-slit cut dress with a low back, intricate embroideries, a longer back than the front, golden ribbons and two strips of cloth flowing out from the back; a pair of shin-length dark blue pants underneath the skirt; and yellow shoes.
As the Rebel Empress of the Empire of Fantasy, she removes her dragonfly barrette and smooths her hair down to a tidier style. Her outfit consists of the Crown of the Empire on her head; a yellow semi-transparent long-sleeved collared top with a back window for her wings; a golden ornate rose-patterned breastplate and shoulder pads; two long golden strips attached to her breastplate; and a white pleated floor-length skirt.
Personality[]
„Fierce and courageous, she has a pure spirit and a big heart. She would do anything to defend the weak.
Winglet is an energetic and extroverted fairy who greets those she meets with lighthearted enthusiasm, capable of putting people at ease and in a good mood very quickly...if the person she's meeting with isn't a stickler for rules and regulations.
Winglet wears the moniker of the Rebel Princess and later on the Rebel Empress like a badge of honor for a reason. Fierce, unruly, and confident, rules don't register with her. She does what she wants, and nobody can tell her otherwise. She'd most willingly ditch a meditation class or a needle and a thread for her bow and arrows, and there's nothing that could be done to convince her to do otherwise. She won't do something until she feels like doing it; and when she does do it, she'll do it her way. If she doesn't like doing it at all and never feels like doing the task in question, then unless the Kingdom of Fantasy's fate hinges on it...too bad.
Though she may not seem like it at times, she does have a heart of gold and does whatever it takes to help and defend her people as well as the weak, and she doesn't take being unable to do this particularly well. At times it even means she'd rather put herself on the line to protect those she cares about, especially her mother Queen Blossom. She cherishes the people she cares about a lot and speaks very highly of them when she can. Depending on the person she's referring to, she waits until they're out of earshot before she says anything very sentimental. She's also very independent, not particularly fond of being babied and taken care of by others, which hints towards a sense of pride.
Skills and Abilities[]
- Physical fitness- As an outgoing and physically energetic woman, Winglet is very fit, capable of free climbing a mountain, running a race on foot, and undertaking a very high-speed journey for five days prior to all the aforementioned feats.
- Archery- Winglet's main weapon of choice is her bow and arrow set, and it shows. She is a master archer capable of hitting consecutive bulls-eyes on targets, even when blindfolded and having to aim at moving targets.
- Combat skills- Even without her bow and arrow, she is capable of self-defense in the form of hand-to-hand and quarterstaff combat. She's capable of engaging in consistent combat on tall stilts high above the ground as well.
- Leadership skills- Despite only being nearly eighteen years old, she has the wisdom and charisma to lead as the Rebel Empress, as seen in her trials to obtain the Crown of the Empire.
