Benjamin Stilton is Geronimo and Thea Stilton’s nephew and a major supporting character in the Geronimo Stilton series.
Appearance
Benjamin has orange and white fur a little long in the back to mimic hair, just like Geronimo and Trap. His snout is quite short, which makes his head more roundish, as is expected of mice his age. In the Tv show he appears to have aqua green eyes.
In the first books, Benjamin's main outfit is a white, long-sleeved shirt underneath his red overalls, estimated to be around 5 years old. A little later he became a 9 year-old grade schooler, sporting a grey hoodie with long red sleeves and a pair of blue jeans (the color of his hoodie's hood varies between red and grey).
In the TV show, Benjamin is 12 and his outfit consists of a red T-shirt with a pink stripe through the middle over a grey long-sleeved shirt, and a pair of baggy jeans. Like most of the inhabitants of Mouse Island, he doesn't wear shoes in any of his incarnations.
Over the years, Benjamin's book appearance changes to be taller and older, and latest appearances might (unverified) be even older than twelve plus considering the fact in the Italian edition spin off Adventure Camp he has fallen in love with a girl named Rosa. Benjamin is the only character that seems to canonically age.
Personality
In the books, Benjamin is an innocent, polite, quiet and sweet nine-year-old child. He looks up to his uncle very much and is very open about it, and sometimes this innocent admiration is all it takes for Geronimo to do something he was originally very loath to do. He takes after both his Uncle Geronimo and his Aunt Thea in more than a few ways, such as he has Geronimo’s shyness and his good heart and has Thea’s adventurous spirit, bravery and is athletic like her as he plays soccer and skateboards. He's very good-hearted by nature and that's gotten a lot of people to grow soft spots in their hearts for him.
He's curious and willing to learn about new things, mainly by observing Geronimo and taking notes. He's very observant and able to pick up on things no one else is able to, and when his help is needed, he's more than willing to step up to the occasion.
In the show, he is twelve and a prodigy when it comes to computers and electronics. He is dynamic, perky (though a little impatient at times) and loves skateboarding and sports as much as he loves computers. He still looks up to Geronimo as much as he does in the books. He also has a penchant for funny slogans.

Family
Geronimo Stilton
Benjamin and Geronimo love each other as much as to other family members. In the books and TV show Benjamin looks up and admires Geronimo and wants to be a journalist just like him. It’s also hinted that he looks up to his uncle as a father figure aa he also takes after his uncle in a few ways such as his shyness (though not completely shy), his uncles intelligence and his good heart.
Thea Stilton
Thea is Benjamin’s aunt, they both love each other very much as to other family members. Benjamin also seems to take after Thea in terms of her love for traveling, adventure, bravery and is as sporty as her.
Trap Stilton
In the first books, Benjamin is dressed almost exactly like Trap, with white shirt and red suspenders. In the cartoon, Benjamin and Trap don’t seem to get along due to Trap's childishness and immaturity as much like Geronimo and Thea find him annoying.
William Shortpaws
William is very fond of Benjamin in the cartoon though in the books Benjamin knows he can be pushy.
Trappy Stilton
Trappy is Benjamin’s cousin, they both get along well and are inseparable and they live together with Aunt Sweetfur, but much like Trap with Geronimo, Trappy likes to play pranks and tricks on Benjamin despite this he loves her very much.
Aunt Sweetfur
Sweetfur is Benjamin’s great aunt and his legal guardian as he lives with her along side her husband Grayfur.
Friends
Bugsy Wugsy (Pandora Spring)
Bugsy Wugsy is Benjamin’s best friend and she usually joins him on adventures. In the show they are still best friends and have a love for adventure but seem to be opposites as Benjamin isn’t into “girly things” like fashion.
Rosa
Rosa is one of Benjamin’s friends who he meets at Adventure Camp, Benjamin eventually develops romantic feelings for her showing signs of constant blushing and being a bit nervous around her along with wanting to do activities involving animals with her such as bird watching and helping her with turtles. He has shown attraction to her as he thinks that she is beautiful and that she has a beautiful singing voice. He is shown to deeply care about her as he took notice of Rosa being afraid of hawks and eventually and decided to help her conquer her fear by working with her to save a wounded hawk named Windy. Rosa has also shown to care for Benjamin deeply as shown when he was made a sailboat captain for his group, Rosa was the only one who had faith in him saying to him that he can be a great captain which allowed him to opened up to Rosa about his own self doubts and feeling like a failure after being blamed for some mistakes as his group(Dan and Trappy) refused to listen to him with Rosa giving him advice saying that “the real problem is not you, it is your doubts” demonstrating her unwavering support for him. After he snapped at his friends and disappeared into the forest Rosa wanted to follow him but decided that the group comes first, she later made the rest of the group realize that they took Benjamin for granted and that they were to blame only themselves for their mistakes and when Benjamin returned she was the first to hug him.
Leo
Leo is another one of Benjamin’s friends and teammates from Adventure Camp, however their relationship isn’t always smooth as they are opposites while Benjamin is serious in situations Leo is more laid back, Benjamin is also shown to dislike his lazy attitude, him constantly on his phone taking selfies and his constant worry for his appearance. Also Benjamin was upset that he took his job to help Rosa with the turtles just to get out of working outside which caused him to be jealous of Leo being with Rosa, regardless the two of them care for each other as teammates despite Benjamin finding him unbearable and underestimates him at times he admits that Leo knows how to put everyone in a good mood.

- Benjamin attends Little Tails Academy, Geronimo's old school.
- His parents are unknown and were never seen in any books or the tv series.
- With Geronimo and Thea being Benjamin's uncle and aunt respectively, it's possible they have another sibling.
- It's not unusual to think Trap was Benjamin's father in older books because of their matching attire.
- It’s possible like Geronimo and Thea, Benjamin doesn’t remember his parents however unlike Geronimo and Thea Benjamin was most likely born into the Stilton family and his parents most likely disappeared or died when he was really young.
- In the books he stays with Geronimo's Aunt Sweetfur, in the southeastern side of New Mouse City.
- For some reason, the English translation of the books marked Benjamin and Aunt Sweetfur's house as "Parking Lot" instead.
- Benjamin in the TV show stays with Geronimo instead.
- Benjamin has his own smart device, simply called the Ben Pad. It's capable of anything from video games, the Internet, accessing New Mouse City record archives, GPS tracking, editing, facial scan and recognition.
- With Geronimo and Thea’s adopted status, it is unclear whether Geronimo and Thea are Benjamin's aunt and uncle purely by legality or biologically, so it remains a mystery.
- Though he is young for one, he is a exceptional pilot, operating the Metamouse almost as well as Thea.
- Though not yet in English in the Adventure Camp Italian edition Spin off shows that Benjamin has shown several hints to have a crush on Rosa, constant blushing and being a bit nervous around her. But he has also displayed jealousy when Leo was around her and took his place when he was assigned to help Rosa with turtles.
